After one year without a festival, Tap Breizh organizes a new festival for amateurs and professional tap dancers for all levels, styles and different backgrounds! As always we have one week of intensive courses. With 30 hours of 4.30 hours of courses, a professional residency and impro courses with live musicians. Some of the great names of tap dance are joining us this year, Heather Cornell, Max Pollak and Steven Harper. Now called the Rennes tap festival we also have  diverse events and several shows: Des Pieds et des Mains" an original alliance of jazz a tap dancer and a contemporary dancer, a video show, an "all star show", a jam session. A full week in which there is one day break from classes and a few evening of relaxing.

As you may have noticed we have departed from the coast and moved ‘to the large city’. In Rennes you will discover, if you are not practicing there already, the Tap breizh dance gallery studios which is located close to the historical center of the city. You will discover a lively city, enhanced by the fact that on the 4th of july the Tombées de la Nuit which is one week of concerts, events and shows – including one great free show – in various location, theatres, parks and on the streets... There is no doubt that you will enjoy the 2006 festival tap shoes on and get ready to stomp the floor !
